Transformation in 8 easy steps! Well, not that easy.
The government isn’t giving away free money here. The EDG may not be a get-rich scheme, but what it can do is help you to refresh and reform your business strategies to keep moving up and ahead. How exactly you do that is up to you. With that in mind, let’s get to step 1!
01 Are you eligible?

Are you eligible?
To qualify for the EDG, your company has to:
- Be registered and operating in Singapore
- Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding
- Be in a financially viable position to start and complete the project
- Make a commitment to improved worker outcomes. This includes wage increments, job creation/redesign, and staff training
If you’ve got that bit down, move on to the next step!
02 Scope out your project

Scope out your project
Here’s where it gets interesting. The EDG supports projects under 3 pillars. Not sure which one’s right for you? We know some people who can help with that! (Us. We mean us.)

03 Nail that proposal

Nail that proposal
Compile your project information into a snazzy proposal. Some things to include:
- Who you are, what you’ve done, and what you’re doing
- What you plan to do with the grant
- What results you’re looking for
- How you plan on achieving those results
- ...and whatever else you think will help convince the G to give you the funds
Or, you could ask us and we'll do it for you for a ridiculously reasonable price of some money. Call us, maybe? *whispers* Think.. about.. your.. R..O..I..
04 Pre-application Checklist

Pre-application Checklist
Along with your proposal, get these important documents ready. Leaving them out could delay the approval of your application.

- Proof of quotation for project item costs
- Consultants’ proposal with scope of work, man-day service rates, CVs and ESG-recognised certifications (if engaging management consultants)
